Surrender, to a criminal on the run means that he is giving up...turning himself in.
Surrender, to an avid skier after being on the snowy windy slopes all day means that he is
packin' it in!
Although both are calling it quits, and both have been relentless in their perseverence...
only one is content with the day.
As humans. we also find ourselves on the run and having to give up isn't easy.
My determination to figure out life can leave me bruised and worn out with exhaustion.
Finally, I am beginning to surrender with greater contentment....knowing that God sees the
past, present, and future. New peace comes when I am content with:
Getting off the lift,
..................................... and bringing in my skis
...............................................................................finishing each day well.
