"Life is too short, and the time we waste in yawning never can be regained."
....Stendahl, writer (1783 - 1842)
"It is difficult to steer a parked car, so get moving."
....H. Mears, educator (1890 - 1963)
The above quotes should persuade us to get organized thus helping us in moving forward, however, how does one begin the motivational procedure? One way might be to jot down things that are knawing away at us. For example, a list of what we wish was
already completed!
A wish list like this can become a launching board to greater productivity.
It also may help us to relax...especially if we designate certain "hate" jobs for certain days. I have found it helpful to do one or two jobs on my hate list just before retiring at night or as soon as I get up in the morning.
Perhaps some of our poor choices has given us an unrealistic amount of extra work.
Where it is possible, down size and simplify.
And
remember to give the mind a break!
"Letting your mind play is the best way to solve problems."
....B. Watterson, cartoonist (1958 - )
