If at first you don't succeed...................................

We all are probably familiar with the quaint saying:

"If, at first you don't succeed, try; try again!"

Taking this literally, I did not succeed in starting out the New Year on the first!

For me, putting this quote into practical and intentional living,

will be as simple as this:

Tomorrow, for most of you, it will be January 11,2010.

However,

for myself,

it will be my January 1st,2010!

You see, we have been away for part of the holiday season.

On the way back home last Monday, I told myself that

the best way for me NOT to panic 0r fall behind in the new year;

was to give myself a few days' grace!

1. Out with the New Year's calendars
2. Down with the Christmas decorations
3. Away with the Christmas clutter
4. In with the 2010 planner

For serious, this time!

Any other late or 'failure-stricken' comrades?
