September...Check your list twice!
So you thought that only the Christmas list should be checked twice?
Wrong!
September is a good time to be vigilant about many things.
1. Do I like the way my kitchen is arranged for the winter days ahead?
2. Did I get a enough "new" toys from the summer yard sales, or should I pick up a few more at the thrift shop so the kids can be surprized on a 'blah' day?
3. What about the windows/doors? Do I need 'whatever' to keep my house cozy? (weather stripping) etc?
4. Did I pick up enough one size fits all gloves for the first onslaught of cold weather?
5. Do I know where my 'winter box' of boots are?
6. Have I let my flour & other baking supplies run low over summer? (nothing like starting that oven on the first chilly day and having homemade biscuits or muffins plus warmth in the kitchen)
To enjoy the next few monthes...have fun preparing for it in September!!!
