The month of Love: How do we respond to all people?

It's Valentine's Month....

I boldly want to say that while I love all of mankind;

there are select ones that I really truly like!

I think it is possible to love all of "mankind"

but surely we do not like some of them!

In my opinion,

loving "mankind" means that I still feel sorrow for them in their state:

• I do not like the con artist who took my family member's money
• I do not like the person who stole from me, but when confronted, lied.

The select ones that are dear to me have captured my heart

in many different ways.

For example,

I DO LIKE THE FOLLOWING......however

there is a huge span between how much I like the following:

• a person whom I meet on the street who picks up my fallen glove...
• my family who have had to live with me, but still seem to sincerely enjoy spending time with me....

Loving and Liking

Let's move forward......relationally.

....................................It is peaceful and exciting to know that I finally understand the difference!
